Celebrating 8 Years of Ministry
Greater Calvary Worship Center is a ministry dedicated to promoting the message of Jesus Christ in our community and to the world. Our Spirit-filled worship services are life changing and we create an atmosphere that is welcoming to the entire family.
We are apart of the Church of God in Christ organization and serve in the Northwestern Harvest Jurisdiction in Michigan. Our minstry excels denominational walls, Jesus Christ makes the difference here at GCWC. We are a growing community church. Our style of worship consists of traditional and contemporary style praise music and the Word of God is taught with power and understanding.
GCWC was established in October of 2003 (formerly Greater Joy Temple Ministries). Over 400 well wishers gathering to help us celebrate the grand opening. After much prayer and the consent of the congregation in 2010 GCWC open it's Detroit location making us 1 church in 2 locations. Also within that same year Greater Calvary Worship Center became our new name.
We are dedicated to ministering to the total man spiritually and naturally. You are invited to worship in a comfort setting where the Holy Spirit is in control of the service.
