 Elder Herman L. Love, III

  The Visionary

     Pastor Herman L. Love, III born April 23, 1975 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  It was at the age of 14 he accepted Jesus Christ into his life and shortly after received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.  It was at the age of 15 Pastor Love realized his purpose and calling to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

     His first step toward ministry was forming a fellowship for his peers along with his childhood best friend Elder Desmon Embry titled Youth Outreach Ministries.  It was through YOM where young people came together for prayer, bible study, and worship services.  Taking the ministry to another level, Pastor Love produced and aired a weekly television broadcast of the YOM services on CTN (a local television station with an audience of 50,000 viewers). 

     With an evangelistic call on his life, Pastor Love has been blessed to travel throughout the United States and parts of Canada ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ and witnessing the awesome move of the Holy Spirit.  In 2001 he was ordained an Elder in the Church of God in Christ organization and 2003 founded Greater Joy Temple COGIC (now Greater Calvary Worship Center) in Ypsilanti, Michigan.  In the summer of 2009 Pastor Love established Dunamis Impact Ministries, Inc.  D.I.M is a revival of his personal evangelistic ministry separate from GCWC.  On April 24, 2010 Pastor Love released his first published book titled “Good Morning Me” and he is currently working on other book projects and pursuing his dream of releasing a Praise and Worship CD. 

     His educational background consists of Washtenaw Community College, C. H. Mason Bible Institute, and William Tynsdale Bible College(Detroit Bible College).  His personal experiences include:  Youth Pastor, Minister of Music, District Music President of the Joy Celebration District (COGIC), District Youth President, Assistant Pastor, and now Pastor. 

     Pastor Love is a father, mentor, and now author with a heart for ministry chosen by God to lead in this millennium.
